Flora is a Brand Ambassador for International Beverage who own a multitude of whisky and other drinks brands.

Flora also brought in the first ever Single Malt from Thailand which uses Scottish barley in the production and has a really cool maturation process.

When Alex Bruce was looking for good access to casks back in 2004 for Adelphi, Drambuie were able to offer him some incredible whiskies.

30 Year Old Macallan and 40 Year Old Glenlivet don’t come around very often.

This is a great whisky story.

Alex took over Adelphi Independent Bottlers back in 2004. All he had was 3 casks to get started and built the business up to a building the Ardnamurchan Distillery.

Hear all about how Alex got himself into whisky, how he grew the Adelphi brand to the point where they needed a distillery to manage demand, and how Ardnamurchan Distillery was born.

We've been to a few very good Whisky Festivals over the last few years, but is this one the best we've been to?

We headed to the Independent Spits Whisky Festival in Leith, Edinburgh to check out what was on offer, and what the fuss is all about.

The Independent Spirits Whisky Festival only started last year in 2025, but we heard just how good it was so needed to see for ourselves.

Independent distilleries, independent bottlers and independent blenders all under one roof with a room full of whisky lovers from all over the world.

There were some of the best whiskies we've ever tried on offer.

We also chucked in a challenge to try and find the best whisky of the day matured only in ec-bourbon casks and the best non-aged statement whisky.

Let us know if you there's a better festival and we'll have to go an check it out.

Should you add water to whisky?

This is the big question, and often debate on how whisky should be served and enjoyed.

Some will suggest that adding water to a whisky is the best way to ruin a good dram, while others will argue that water is always needed to open up the flavours.

In this clip from our recent episode with Greg Urquhart, we discuss the importance of water when it comes to tasting whisky, when to add water, tips on how to add water and how water can impact and affect a whisky.

At the end of the day, enjoying whisky is the most important thing. It doesn't matter how you enjoy it, as long as you're having your dram the way you like it.
