Whisky Stories Hits 10,000 Downloads!

As if we needed an excuse to crack open a bottle and have a dram.

This week we have hit a HUGE milestone for the podcast. Over 10,000 downloads for the podcast is incredible.

Episode number 1 hit a grand total of 8 downloads after the first week of releasing it. Which in fairness completely surprised us considering neither Angus, or myself actually listened back to it.

At the podcast has grown, the thought of people sitting listening to us chat about whisky while sitting in a pub still amazes me.

Our target was to hit 10 episodes, as I had been told or heard a stat about how most podcasts never make it past episode 8. Now we’re sitting at over 60 episodes with over 10k downloads and plenty of recording, dramming and content planned for 2025.

Thank you to all of our listeners and thanks for all the great messages that we’ve received from people who listen and like to get involved on Instagram, the Whisky Stories Facebook Group and on our YouTube channel.

We’ve had a great laugh recording these episodes, heard some amazing stories, and tried some brilliant whisky.
